ANTONY - Colorist

Often referred to by his clients as the "van Gogh of hair color," luckily Antony is equipped with both ears to listen intently to his clients "hair affirmations."   Antony treats each head as a canvas, and with the positive energy he evokes, custom-blends a palette which creates movement and pop, all designed to make each client shine. 

An international clientele, hailing from Moscow to Lima , make a global commute to NYC, along with a stable of locals, all of them attracted by  Antony 's experienced artistry and personalized attention. "Creative", "patient", and "detail-oriented" are just a few of the attributes that draw them.  

Making the cut as one of the top colorists, featured in Vogue and New York Magazine, only inspired Antony to further challenge his imagination and perfect his craft. Never one to rely on past accolades and honors, he constantly searches out new products and has developed innovative and effective foil and balayage techniques. With his masterly highlight creations, the hair grows out gracefully and not screaming with roots. 

Each client, no matter how long their shared history is always given a consultation. Over time, hair and skin tones change, and accordingly, adjustments are necessary to help keep color fresh, interesting and current.

Hair color at times has been compared to a shoe addiction. Antony finds this analogy amusing and believes there might be some truth to it. The difference, he notes is, "unlike a pair of shoes, you wear your hair color every day, and with the positive attitude it should instill, have you walking feeling dazzling and sexy."
